Logistics Administrative Assistant (Fulltime)
For our sister company Melle Transport we are looking for a logistics administrative employee. Melle Transport is a growing, logistics service provider in the Rotterdam North Region. They are specialized in transporting sea containers, both nationally and internationally. Among other things, they transport conditioned transport from and IMO loads. They work daily with a team of 5 people and have a fleet of 40 vehicles. You will be responsible for the daily handling of transport requests, order entry, tariff entry. This makes you the central point of contact for colleagues and customers.
What will you do?
You are the central point of contact for colleagues and customers regarding logistics.

Daily mail processing
-
Taking orders and processing them in the planning and E-Lips, our TMS system
-
Maintain contact with customers
-
Checking orders for completeness and correctness
-
Working with Portbase to register containers at the terminals
-
Inputting rates into the E-Lips.
Who are we looking for?

You are in possession of an MBO Diploma

Excellent command of the Dutch and English language (German is a plus)

Geographical knowledge is desirable
-
You have experience with container transport
-
Knowledge of the laws and regulations relating to road transport is desirable

Knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Teams
-
Stress resistant, proactive, communicative and enthusiastic
-
No 9 to 5 mentality and be a team player
